What We Offer:
- Class A CDL: For driving big rigs like tractor-trailers or trucks with heavy trailers.
- ELDT Course: Meets federal training requirements to get you ready for your CDL.
Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years old (18 for intrastate driving in NY).
- Have a valid New York driver’s license.
- Pass a medical exam (DOT physical).
- Get a CDL permit by passing written tests:
- General Knowledge: 50 questions, need 40 correct (80% to pass).
- Air Brakes: 25 questions, need 20 correct (80% to pass).
- Combination Vehicles: 20 questions, need 16 correct (80% to pass).
- Visit our office to pick up the Questions and Answers booklet.
- Complete FMCSA-approved ELDT (our course covers this!).
- Pass the skills test (vehicle inspection, basic control, road test).
- Includes group inspection training to check trucks as a team.
